Angry RAM TRX drivers last night

If you’re going to take offense to acts like “rolling coal” and hating on EVs you have no right to turn around and call these same people “far right” or use terms like bubba and backwards because those terms are equally hateful and exclusionary.

so we should not be offended when other drivers roll coal, flip people off, and otherwise assume all EV drivers eat granola and smell like patchouli? I'm just trying to figure out your logic here.

It’s fine to take issue with negative behavior that’s directed towards you. What’s not fine is to then turn around and bring race, or geography or political beliefs into it and ascribe motivation to the act that there’s very little evidence for.

Did that guy roll coal on you because you’re a granola eating patchouli smelling to use your term, or was he a teen kid being a typical teen jackass screwing around? Did the guy who flipped you off do so because of your Prius or because you were going 10 under driving like a jackass trying to get your apple car play to work? Was the TRX trying to race you doing so because you’re a dumbass EV driver or because he just spent 100k on a truck and he’s excited because he finally found someone to give him a race?

Bitching about a behavior is fine. Using a behavior to slander a group of people is not. Using offensive language to target people you don’t agree with politically is not okay and it’s not necessary in order to talk about a behavior that isn’t inherently political. Even if it WAS political, which I’ve seen no evidence for, it doesn’t change the behavior at all and stereotyping people is bigoted and unacceptable in a forum meant for everyone.

Was that clear enough or do I need to go on?

Lol I’m certainly not going to defend that group. I was debating on a stupid hat myself today picking up my tractor at Ag Pro and decided against it.

I told him I was surprised, given his pro-USA stance, he'd spend that much on a truck built in Mexico. After a few beers he finally went to the google to look it up. I buy him a 12 pack of Pacifico for Cinco de Mayo each year.
