So I did a bit of off-roading yesterday and after decided to try the spare tire storage as a cooler.

I popped in 60lbs of ice and it easily could have been doubled. I pulled the plug before bed to start draining it and this AM I was shocked to see whole ice still in it.

Going to test this on the next trip to see how long it lasts while full.

All you could handle was 20+ beers and 4 steaks yourself?

I had to look it up my pellet grill only needs 300amps. Rivian bed plus can support 5 times that. So yes, I could have smoked them. This sounds like the next adventure...

Uh yeah. A traeger Ranger is like 150w. I power one on a 1KW. I know this was sarcastic but i had to respond because I am a Traeger owner.

Maybe you meant Watts, because if your grill needed 300A - the Rivian certainly could not handle that.

A 300 amp cooker at 120v would require 36,000 watts?

We know you meant 300 watts.

YES! I've been traveling with one on camping trips and we took it to Alta for Frank (closing party) one year, but I haven't yet enjoyed it on the tailgate of the R1T.
