This one did it for me! I have had access to the shop for almost exactly a month. I chose my exact build but in Black instead of White. Immediately after confirming the choice, it opened the 8 steps and I have a VIN of 11xxx!

I chose:

Midnight Black ext, Adventure Ocean Coast int, 20" A/T Dark wheels, Underbody Shield and Full Size Spare

I am San Diego. There must be 40+ R1Ts in the shop. All interiors, every exterior color including lots of Launch Green. Most all 20s and 22s both bright and dark.

Insane! Seeing the same in LA shop. Pulled trigger on my exact build (Midnight/BM/Dark '22/Full Spare/Powered Tonneau).

I know this is a loooong shot since not all 2021 SoCal orders have even been fulfilled, but I have noticed some late 2021 order holders get their R1Ts, I am Jan 2022, no guide contact or anything (not really expected). Do you guys think it's still possible to get delivery late this year? or more likely some time first half next year?

I do believe you might. My preorder was Q1 '21 and I've had access for a month (since 8/13). I feel like they have been allowing a good number of preorder holders into the shop lately. My guess is yes.

what's surprising is that there are 19 Launch Green vehicles in there now and I thought they stopped taking orders for those a year ago. Anyway great to see the shop populated with So0000oo many vehicles............just not mine. For me it is all about efficiency so I want the 21 AP wheels and there is not a huge selection of those on my preferred color RB. In fact there is only one and it is Adv Oc. Coast interior.
