Nice sharing. Pretty good summary of where Rivian is right now.

I do wish that Rivian is secretly using the Amazon vans to map out entire cities for the its driver assistance program. A missed opportunity if that wasn't the case. I would guess that not even all Rivian drivers combined would cover as much driving as a fleet of Amazon vans.

Rivian needs to be manufacture an adventure van in addition to the R1. The van life is huge right now.

That one is cool, but I think one based on the long bed delivery van is what I would like to see...
I believe the actual van Rivian refers to would be based on EDV. I think MotorTrend is making renderings and guessing it would be based on the R1 platform, although it could be I suppose. Couldn’t make a very big van from that though…

My gosh that mutant R1 and delivery van rendering is a little jarring to look at
I think it's ugly as hell, but to each their own!

I think the sweet spot for those adventure vans is something that can get you to the campsite or trailhead comfortably. Like a lifted version of the EDV with some AT tires or something like that. Not necessarily a full blown R1 overlanding rig designed to compete with Earth Roamers that cost more than most houses.
