1 - who's your local go to detailer for PPF? I was chatting with the guy who owns Carolina Dent Pro and his shop seems to have the reviews to backup his claims

2 - who are you using for charger/electrical upgrades/install? I think i need to expand my box in addition to getting the 240V/60A outlet

Rivian put me in touch with ATD Detailing. They also claim to be the top installer in NC. https://atddetailingnc.com/

I DIY'd my EVSE installation, so I can't make any recommendations there. I did get a quote through Rivian/QMerit, for giggles, and they wanted $699, IIRC. I did it for under $200.

I wish some others in the Greensboro area have mentioned some good shops in the forum. I'm getting a quote today at Dedona in Greensboro and sun stoppers (via rivian xpel) in Winston Salem. We will see

So I explicitly asked ATD if they were participating in the Rivian program and received this response:


We do participate in the Rivian XPEL Program. That program offers slightly different coverage options than what you have been quoted for here. That program offers a deeply discounted rate but that will mean your edges are not wrapped and it's more of an OEM inspired patterned install meaning it's a much quicker process and less film is used, which results in the lower cost. The estimate I sent over is the "full Monty" so to speak, meaning you are getting wrapped edges and no OEM inspired patterns will be used.

Qmerit put me in touch with Triangle Electric. I think I waited maybe 1-2 weeks and I'm happy with the work. Much faster than I thought it would be. My Rivian charger is right next to my exterior wall panel in the garage, so I think it was an easy job.
