I met a reservation holder at Dukes BBQ on Folly on Sunday for a test drive. While there another reservation holder randomly saw us and pulled in to join on the meet-and-greet. That basically sums up Charleston in one event lol

My wife and I just booked a May visit to Charleston and I would love to see your truck if your schedule allows! She looked surprised when she found out I was serious about taking our Mach E on the trip. ? Roundtrip EV travel Birmingham-Charleston should be very uneventful. Two stops and done.

Our R1T was supposed to be delivered March 25th but delivery day morning I received a text from my guide saying the truck was damaged during delivery.

Reached out to my guide last week for an update and was told it went to a body shop for an estimate.

Tried texting my guide today but have yet to get a response.
Hopefully I get some communication this coming week.

Passed a transport truck with a LG R1T on it with bright 22" wheels eastbound on I-26 near Orangeburg. Likely heading for the Lowcountry although I suppose it could be en route to I-95 S

It looks like I will be getting my truck within the next few weeks barring some calamity. I am in the West Ashley area of Charleston on most weekends and the Anderson/Clemson area during the week. Happy to meet with folks who don't have a lot of faith in a First Drive to see the truck and poke around once I take delivery.

I'm holding out till 1) I have a new contract, and 2) they'll let me go to the factory. Number two is actually a want instead of a need, TBH.
