Dammit Rivian! I had been settled on LA Silver for months and now I need to see every color again under stealth PPF to be sure I’m not missing out!

Probably covered earlier, but it’s odd that stealth is the only full option offered. I think it looks amazing on the more neutral colors, but blue stealth isn’t my favorite.

Perhaps because it doesn’t require the same prep work and it’s being offered at a very competitive cost?

Also, this is another Rivian email that I didn’t receive. I appear to be about ~50-75% on receiving their mass emails this year. Anyone else seem to miss THIS email?

Pretty sure this one only went to those who already had a truck since they will be making this an option going forward. The idea being that they wanted owners to know that it's an option retroactively.

I need the love bug defender front package. I’m tired of wiping the front “grill” after/during each road trip…I also hate washing cars so I’ll never wash it once I get the front aside from the sporadic “sponge bath” when there is bird poop or something that gets on it.

So the business insider articles, among many other sources too, said the PPF program would be available direct from the factory.

I’m guessing there is 2 programs then? One for existing owners in the aftermarket and another for new orders straight from rivian? Both with the same pricing?

Anyone have an accurate answer on this? Conflicting information everywhere.

I think you nailed it. At some point in the near future this will be a factory option performed prior to delivery with the cost included in the sale price. Until then, they want current and soon to be owners to have the same benefit available to them and are offering a retroactive offer that would be performed through a local shop.

Whenever I get my R1S, will probably go for the full body stealth. Hopefully if it is factory done by then, they have it locked down. Then will go to my regular shop to get it ceramic coated and tinted.
Still have not seen FG in stealth- would be an interesting look.
I agree that ultimate plus around the whole car will probably be an option soon enough.

How do the clear & satin prices typically compare?

I think the advantage may be more where labor is more expensive. Here in the Seattle area I was quoted about 2500 and 10K for equivalent STEK so this definitely seems cheaper.

I had that enabled and still didn't get this email. Like someone else said maybe just people who have their R1T or are close to delivery got them.
