For a comparison, I‘m a 7/1/21 reservation and was originally given 1H2023. Based on the estimates some R1T 2021 reservations are getting, I’ll be extremely disappointed with 2H23. It might force me to go a different direction from Rivian entirely. Don’t think my 2011 Q5 is gonna make it another 18 months for me.

Edit: I see that you’re in Boise. That could be a big factor against you, which absolutely sucks for you. Also, I think you’re posting in the wrong thread. This is the R1S thread, but you said R1T and mentioned the tonneau.

Just got email they moved my estimate delivery from second half of 2023 to Dec 2022 to jan 2023 !! I ordered my R1t in Nov 2021

My updated window is Aug - Sept 2022, previously July - Sept. Very pleasantly surprised because this is in theory not even a delay. I think it has to do with my location more than anything else.

Based on the last email I thought this was going to be a 2023 delay. Definitely eating my words and low key freaking out for an actual delivery before the summer ends!

I know not everyone received good news … hope your time comes s00n though.

Nope. June 2020 was when I pre-ordered my R1S LE. It was toward the end of the LE window.

My R1S LE delivery date was updated to August - September 2022 from July - September 2022, so not much movement. I placed my reservation in June 2020 and I live in the DC area.

Wow I'm may 19 in DC as well area R1S and my may to June window is now October to December

The configurator open in early november 2020. And LE sold out about 5 days after the configurator had open.

Probably they can deliver some non-LEs as well it looks like.

I agree there will be some mixing of the two editions, but the person said their June 2020 reservation was for “LE”.
Edit: Everyone should probably ignore my comments about the LE question. I think I’m getting the timeline wrong. I thought the configuration page went live in November 2019 and LE was sold out that same month. But 2019 was just the general reservation and configurations started late 2020? So I’m just wrong on a couple things in this thread. Sorry! Don’t post late at night without double checking, kids!

Yah. Just for those who joined late, the configurator for depositors opened November 16, 2020. There was early access based on reservation date and Launch Editions sold out in…a day or two if I recall? There was some animosity from those who procrastinated and were shut out of LE.
