Logo puddle lights - When do yours activate?

Quick question for other owners...

The puddle lights that look like the Rivian logo I assumed would light up when the vehicle unlocks, so that it illuminates the ground as you approach the truck. But on my truck, they only come on once you've opened the door. Seems to defeat the purpose of having those lights as if there were any puddles, I would have already stepped in them!

So I'm curious, when do your puddle lights come on? Do they act the same as mine? Or is my truck acting odd? Thanks for the help!

Check your settings. I think there is an option to greet as you approach the truck. If you turned that off then the puddle lights may not activate until you open the door.

Is It because your truck unlocks late? Mine is pretty inconsistent to pick up PAAK via proximity.

That's how I expected them to work. Hmmm.

Pretty sure I have every single option enabled, but I'll double check.

That might be the issue. My PAAK basically only works if I walk up to the truck, take out and unlock my phone, and then click on the app. Works flawlessly when I walk away though.

For the record, I just tested and my puddle lights came on when unlocking, though I would have sworn one night recently they didn’t come on until I opened the door. Hasn’t happened to me since then. I assumed it was a delayed unlock and I wasn’t paying attention but maybe a bug?
