Congrats! The Livewire is a lot of fun, and definitely a unique riding experience. I kept finding myself reaching for the clutch every time I stopped, but I'm sure you get used to it eventually. The artificial vibration when stopped seemed a little strange before I rode, but even that is kind of fun.

Nice you could grab a charge while loading too. I think the Harley chargers around here are only 25 kW though.
It was only a 25kW charger, but enough to get me back up to 85% after the drive to work and there. Spent way more time at the dealer than I had time for.

My plan is to just ramp my Zero FXS into the bed. Granted it should be a heck of a lot easier because it's under 300 lbs.

My plan is to just ramp my Zero FXS into the bed. Granted it should be a heck of a lot easier because it's under 300 lbs.
I'm not sure if I will end up going that route yet. It was clear the hitch itself was more than capable of holding the weight of the bike. Part of me is thinking that we didn't put the ramp back onto the rails was part of the reason the bike felt tippy. Might need to move the chock forward as well

That’s awesome! I was looking into the Del Mar version next year as my max pack will be hopefully delivered by then. Let us know your adventures would love to hear about it!
Big miss for LiveWire to remove DCFC for the Del Mar.

Seems silly to have to choose a heavy streetish/cruiser if you want reasonable charge speeds
(especially with the limited range of the del mar)

Bought a Livewire One today.

Dealer didn't think the rack was solid enough to drive with it on there so they are going to deliver it instead. Will beef up the rack some and give it a go a different day.

Can you charge the Livewire from the ports in the truck bed, while the R1T is being charged?
I didn't have time to test it, but I believe it should work. It's more than 10 hours for a full charge on the livewire on 120V.

Can you charge the Livewire from the ports in the truck bed, while the R1T is being charged?
The Livewire EVSE faults out when plugged into the Rivian's outlets. I tried using a neutral bonding plug but the Rivian kills the AC power immediately. I'll have to pull out a scope and meter and see if I can figure out what exactly is going on with it.

*Edit: Meter shows almost exactly 120V between hot and neutral. 60V between hot and ground. I didn't measure neutral to ground but it has to be 60V to make sense. Really strange decision, I wonder if there's a way to change how the inverter is configured.
