Will be interesting to see if there have been any improvements in the charge curve from 60-80%.

The line about range loss when the vehicle is sleeping is interesting as well. Here are the notes

There's really no limit to how Rivian could have defined their OTA campaigns. It could be geofenced, VIN range(s), delivery date, option codes, etc - or any combination thereof.I'm sitting at 2022.07.03 and it's telling me i'm up to date. Wonder if it's rolled out by geo or batched vehicles?
I see your occupation is "Engineer". Not sure what type, but in the IT world, it is always best practice to stagger any sort of large scale release.Just checked mine. No update available. Not sure if there is a way to force it but I'm really disliking this staggered rollout stuff. Polestar is the same way.
Sure, but lots of places have a way to sign up for bleeding edge, with the users doing so knowing that there could be show-stopping problems. Maybe I overlooked this signup page.I see your occupation is "Engineer". Not sure what type, but in the IT world, it is always best practice to stagger any sort of large scale release.
What if this update bricks every single car? Easier to remediate if only a small subset of cars got the update. Plus, as the rollouts go, there are logs collected to determine if there are any issues. There's always a feedback loop so issues can be addressed. If no issues, continue deploying. Also less strain on the deployment servers.
That makes all kinds of sense. Sure it won't be too long before available. Really more interested in getting my wall charger.I see your occupation is "Engineer". Not sure what type, but in the IT world, it is always best practice to stagger any sort of large scale release.

I agree. Would be good to opt in/manually update. I'm confident Rivian will enable this at some point in the future, but it is likely too early to do that. Still early in "career" so risky to put too much freedom in owners hands yet. They want to control the deployment. I would. Any bad press now (from a bad update) will be bad for the company.Sure, but lots of places have a way to sign up for bleeding edge, with the users doing so knowing that there could be show-stopping problems. I *could* put the updates into the Polestar as soon as they push them, before they are available OTA, but I don't think Rivian has anything they've set up with right-to-repair yet.
Just as expected...better and betterAccording to someone on Reddit, the latest update opened up 500a charging, out of spec showed it was capping at 450a. Max charge rate they saw was 225 kwh.
