April - May 2022 Delivery Club/Hype Thread

I have a feeling that location plays a significant role. I'm in Michigan, where Rivian was headquartered for like a minute, and I haven't heard of anyone taking delivery from the state. I also don't have Black Mountain, which is looking like the only color interior that Rivian is delivering. Fingers crossed that I can still take delivery in the April/May timeframe.

@fastwheels on here took delivery of their forest green beauty this week, via rivian’s Plymouth location.

So, other than @fastwheels, has anyone in MI with an April/May estimated delivery been contacted? R1T Launch Edition, Forest Green, Black Mountain, 20”AT, Sept 2019 reservation holder here. Saw a couple dozen R1Ts at Plymouth this past weekend…several in my color. Just wondering when MI is going to start feeling some love.

I am a Michigan pre-order (Sept 2019) and live about 15 minutes south of Rivian's Plymouth offices. I have an April/May window with an R1T LE, White, Ocean Coast, 20" AT. No guide contact yet but I saw yesterday we have a guide assigned to us on the configurator. Hopefully we will hear something "soon".

Not sure if they just assigned everyone a guide after the price adjustment, re-adjustment or if the guide is sign we are getting close.

Hoping to get some clarification on if Ocean Coast interior is a delay or not.

Given the likelyhood of further supply chain issues, my wife and I have agreed that if we can't get a definitive answer we are going to go with what is guaranteed rather than risk it.

Just checked, no guide assignment here yet. But, you being in Detroit gives me hope that they're working their way north

Based on the contacts here it looks like they are finally starting to work through the "challenging" delivery states like MIchigan and SC.

I know of 1 other Rivian in the state currently, so they are delivering here ..

I never answer 888 numbers but I accidentally did a week ago and it was my guide!!! He originally estimated 3-6 weeks for delivery but I will be picking up my R1T tomorrow at the El Segundo service center! Could have taken delivery sooner but the days and times did not work out.

Just heard back from my guide. He confirmed that "the only thing coming off the line is Black Mountain" when I asked about changing back to Ocean Coast.

We are going to stick with our color change to BM. Just not worth the risk of more unexpected delays just for a functionally identical interior color that our 3 year old is going to destroy anyway.

Got a call from a guide today. Expected delivery in 2 weeks. Rivian blue/OC R1T in dallas. Original window was April/may
