No, I mean it blows a 60 amp fuse. The breaker never trips. And it doesn't blow the fuse if I reduce the charging amperage.
Fuse and a breaker on a dedicated circuit? Seems odd.

Is the fuse from a quality supplier? Amazon? Aliexpress?

thanks for the reply. I was also wondering if you have that eletrical buzz/hum when charging at 48 amps? I notice a significant difference between 40 amps and 48 amps. 40 amps is nearly silent with little heat generated.
I don't ever have any electrical hum at 48 or 40A.

Lowe's. Brand is Bussman.
That should be fine. Is this a fused disconnect? Seems odd that 48 amps would open a 60 amp fuse like that.
Probably need to electrician to come check. Should be no surge as the charger ramps power up slowly.
Clamp-on ammeter would tell the story. I assume there is no heat building up from poor connection.

I would consider an unfused disconnect.

Appreciate the advice. Yeah, I'm getting an electrician to take a look.

Is your wiring passing through metal conduit? I guess metal conduit will amplify the vibration . That’s what I have.
My conduit is hidden in wall but my recollection is that it is PVC not metal. Not sure how much difference might also be attributable to Tesla vs ChargePoint EVSE.
