I’m thinking about getting a shade for roof window and wondering if anyone has had good experience with one
Any suggestions on which brand is best

We have the grey color made by BestEVMods in our R1S. I'd say the fit is about 98% perfect in terms of covering all the corners and edges.

We are in San Diego parked in partial shaded area on driveway. Guest-imating a bit - the worst temp is low 100s before, to low to mid 80s now. I'd recommend using windshield shade too if not already.

This one will probably work fine too if you are good with black.

Roof shade and windshield shade absolutely make a massive difference. On longer trips when AC and wind cools down the roof glass, less so.

I recently installed a Vion sun roof shade on my R1T. Super easy to install or remove. I‘ve had it about a month and I can tell you, it definitely keeps the truck significantly cooler. Having said that, all bets are off if the sun is shining directly into the windshield. The trick is, if possible, align the vehicle properly, relative to the sun - face it west in the AM and east in the PM I definitely don’t miss not having that big window on top of my truck. Wish I could have ordered it without that darn sun roof.

For straight shade, the pop-in/retractable ones most folks use work fine and you can pull them when you want the open feel back. If the real issue is the heat though, the other route is an IR-rejecting film on the glass roof - it knocks down a big chunk of the solar heat and UV without anything to take in and out, and you keep the view. It won't black out the light the way a physical shade does, so it comes down to which bugs you more, the glare or the heat. That's cute. Here in AZ I've had 3D printed parts melt inside the cabin. Since it's early morning and the truck is still partly shaded, it's only 111 in it now.

I've got that film on the outside, and it absolutely makes a huge difference. So much that I stopped using my inside shade and gave it away. It was this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BP6VJ7Q2

I'd recommend the Twraps film instead though. You also gain impact protection.
