have to have the 2923.10 installed to be able to use the new control with new version of app
It'd be nice for Rivian to mention that in the app version details since they have in the past. But I expect that to be the case for new vehicle features going forward anyway

Yeah - would be nice to see there too. At least the truck software mentions it.

Not a big deal but 1.12.0 did not seem to fix the incorrect graphic of the installed wheels.

Why can't I think of a time I would use this? I need to get something out of the back of the truck... but I'm not at the back of the truck to press the button? I covered the button with my homemade tonneau cover?

I guess if I wanted to open it for someone else, from some place other than the driver seat? or I'm stuck in the bed under my homemade tonneau cover?

Might be nice instead of digging through a couple of inches of snow and ice to find the button on the rail. Been there.

I use the rear hatch open on my van's key fob when I am going to load something big or heavy into it. I can never get the foot sensor to work consistently so it allows me to open the back before picking up whatever large item I want to load and walking it to the vehicle. I know I will use it the same way on the R1S app, but I can see how with the truck (especially with no tonneau) it's less of an issue.

While we’re talking about tailgates. Is the tailgate supposed to drop by itself? MIne doesn’t, simply unlatches.

I guess y'all don't open the tonneau a whole lot with a couple of inches of snow & ice on it. I guess if the truck bed was empty, you could lay a blue tarp down inside before it snowed and "rake it off" on top of that when you open it...but as touchy as the tonneaus seem to be, I'm guessing that just might do it in permanently.
