Another Gen 2 Quad sighting in media (Hagerty video)

Watched a new video from Hagerty and Jason Camisa this morning. Best I can tell he pats the hood of a gen2 Quad motor R1 at the end.

Whole video is worth watching (they make great content IMO), but here's the link to the mention.

That's definitely a Gen2 front fascia. Looks like Gen2 Quad Wheels.

Just make the reveal Rivian! It has be coming soon with all of these hints appearing all over Youtube. Looks like it got the jump on all of those SUVs based on the preview. Can't wait to see it in action!

From the looks of their lineup in the preview, the Rivian is going to smoke all those other SUVs. The trimax smokes all those other choices.

Hagerty videos are so well produced. The quad R1t drag race while towing was a preferred replay of mine.

That’s going to be an awesome race/test. They should do an off road one as well.

As a previous Syclone owner I had a LOT of enthusiasm for that video as well.

I also agree overall. Hagerty videos, in particular those with Jason Camisa and Randy Pobst, are just really well done content. Reminds of what Top Gear used to be in terms of cinematography, but with hosts that don't take themselves too seriously.

Not so fast my friend. The Lucid Gravity Dream Edition has more horsepower, better aero, and weighs less than a Gen 2 Quad.

Everything I’ve seen posted about the Gravity has it in mid 11’s and a 3.5 sec 0-60. Maybe I missed something.

The testing numbers you referenced reflect the Gravity Grand Touring model with 825 hp.

The Gravity Dream Edition has 1,070 hp.

I'm not sure which model Hagerty was able to source for their test, but it’s definitely not a foregone conclusion that the new Rivian Quad will come out on top. Should make for a fun watch!

I wonder if Lucid will make a Sapphire edition of the Gravity?

For the Gen2 Quad teasers, how long are press embargos usually? Seems like they all got their hands one 2-3 weeks ago....come on already Rivian!

Press embargo are literally as long as they are defined by the OEM. They could have said something as wild as "come test these trucks but you can't say anything until Dec 12 2028"

A little birdie told me Gen 2 Quad official release is "sometime in July (2025)" and that what looks like Launch Green will be called something else.

They are trying to get rid of the last bit of DUNE Tri Motor vehicles they have. They are pushing a tri motor incentive through the end of the 1/4 so for another week. I think the embargo will lift on July 1st as that will start Q3 and Quad will go on sale then.
