2024.31.30 Update Pushed (Gen 2)

Got this pushed to my Gen2 R1S this afternoon and hadn’t seen a Gen2 thread yet, so here it is

So far, seems great! Google search results are waaaay better, and it appears to have fixed the Apple Music issues I was seeing occasionally. Let’s go!

Yeah, the changes to the search are nice. I've notice the wireless charging pad seems to be detecting my phone much better as well. We'll see if that was just a fluke when I tested earlier today or if it continues to work better.

there’s still no climate scheduling but it’s in gen1. They really need to work on at least ensuring all gen1 features are ported.

I was seeing lots of blank artwork, and occasional failures to play anything at all. Since the update, both issues seem to be resolved.

Give it another day or two and they'll stop working again. Mine were working for almost 3 days, were working after the update last night and then stopped working this afternoon.

Anyone notice the AC takes much longer to kick on and start blowing out cold air?
Before this update, I think the heat pump would turn on right away after pressing the snowflake button, and cold air would start very shortly after. Now it seems to take a minute before I start feeling any cold air. Not good when the car is damn hot.
I don’t think I am imaging it.
It’s kind of annoying step backwards for the AC performance.

Still waiting for the software option to disable wireless phone charging. Never in my 15 years of IPhone usage have I seen an iPhone overheat message until today. Phone was only on the pad for 30 minutes. Phone turned off all wifi/cellular, etc. I literally stuck it in the fridge for 10 minutes after getting home.
