Some thoughts on passing this milestone;

Acquired Quad motor Adventure with 21” tires in late July 2022. Hit 50k miles on August 1st 2024.

Overall it’s been an extremely fun and reliable vehicle. Powered tonneau has always and continues to work fine. Had the early suspension creaking but was fixed with the recall and had not returned. First set of tires lasted 35K and second set will make it that far too. Battery degradation has been minimal. Interior is holding up very well, even with a 60lb Labrador Retriever in the back seat for most of those miles.

Only issue has been a sticky charge port door motor that was replaced under warranty.

I use it extensively as a pickup. It does pickup things and travels around the country with power and grace

Do most charging at home but have done a lot of DC fast charging with 0 issues. Do your homework on plug share and just avoid the bad ones. Get the charging network apps and learn how to use them, I see a lot of user error out there….. it is harder than it should be to fast charge but a little homework and planning go a long way.

Will buy another R1T to replace this one when the time comes.

I'm at about 45k since September 2022 on my R1T and my experience mirrors yours. I'm very happy with this truck and for a brand new auto manufacturer it has exceeded my expectations!

Awesome ? I’m working on 22k miles on my R1T (‘23, Quad), 2nd EV vehicle and it has been flawless, it does daily commute, camping, trailering , light hauling and other fun truck things.

Congrats - good to hear from other happy, satisfied owners - I'm one also.
I'm currently at 39,937 in 586 days.

The charge port door would not always retract or extend. I could manually “help” it so it never left me in a bad situation. They replaced the actuator motor and it’s been fine since.

I would rather see a manual door than the automated one to avoid this type of failure.

Thanks for sharing. I wish more people would share these types of experiences so that people visiting this board would get a balanced view. Cheers.

Approaching 50k on mine delivered June 2022... best vehicle I've owned. Former Model S, Polestar, 911 turbo, audi driver here...

Truck stuff for the house.. biking with the kids. Started with 3 car seats in the back and thankfully kids grew out of the bigger ones!

Second set of tires. Also lasted 30-35k on the original 21s.

Service has been slow but not frequent.

Tonneau worked from day 1 but during one of my service apps they mentioned it was really loud (was like that from the beginning) so got the recall/upgrade done.

Best upgrades : Tinted windows including front windshield, step ups, HORN and a phone holder that charges, front ppf and all weather mats.. diy ceramic coated and rinseless wash 2-3 times a month now!

Love the company and vehicle. Can't wait for my r3x. Hope I can keep both for a while!

Congrats. What % do you typically charge to at home? Asking because of your lack of battery degradation.

45k. Over two years. Pretty solid. Handful of things that had to be addressed but overall impressed.

Nothing in the market like a Rivian...absolutely love mine!
Almost the same.

And totally agree.

Funny my door got stuck in a close loop about 15 months ago, drained the battery and had to be towed. They fixed it all was good. About 2 months ago it was not always opening. Mobile service calibrated it and all has been good.

I agree with the charging app comments you made. I am a geek so haven't had issues but I see so many that do.
