Impressive. Obviously the Huracan will win over a longer distance, but the gap the Rivian puts on at the start is surprising. Imagine the new 1,000+ hp model.

So cool. Looks like the S let off the pedal when the Huracan caught up. Though I suspect the Huracan would overtake it after 100 mph or so when the S runs out of headroom (or the governor kick in).

At the 0:05 mark, both punch the gas. Assuming both are hitting 60 mph 3. something seconds later (around the 0.08 second mark), both just cleared the intersection. Judging acceleration by time is pretty standard. I’m continually impressed by how short a distance is required to get to 60 mph.

To be fair, looks like Lambo did not use launch control and we don't know if R1 did.

FWIW, I think all 0-60 testing should be done in normal modes without launch control, brake torquing etc. Just press and go is all that counts for me.
