IF its not the camp speaker, mine did this and it was alexa notifications. If you have alexa connected, on your alexa app on your phone, turn off alllllllll notifications.

It's the iPhone, not the truck, that chimes when it starts/stops charging. If your phone is paired with the truck then of course the sound comes out of the truck speakers, but it's the phone that is generating the sound. And on that same note (pun intended), if you're getting text messages or phone notifications while your phone is paired the same thing will happen. But since you mentioned it happened "in the middle of the turn" that made me think you might have an iPhone and it might be sliding on the charging pad, even though you didn't mention what kind of phone you had or whether you were charging or not.

AFAIK this is only something that the iPhone does - I don't think Android has the ability to chime when charging starts.

Are you sure it's not your nav indicating you need to make another turn in a sec? Mine does

That's a good point too - there's a nav setting to use the chime instead of the voice to indicate turns. If you're actively navigating at the time and you have your nav set to chime only, that might also be what you're hearing.

But again, a sound clip would help a lot here. The Camp Speaker noise for example is pretty distinctive.

... During some turns I get a 'gong' tone randomly in the middle of the turn ...
You mention it happens when turning. Could it be the Blind Spot Warning? When you have your turn signal on and the truck sees a vehicle in your blind spot, it alerts you to that vehicle.

So today something weird started happening while driving an in town 10-15 mile trip in navigation. During some turns I get a 'gong' tone randomly in the middle of the turn maybe once or twice with no alert on any screen. Not the regular too close to the lines or crossing over entrance/exit lines gong thing, its new case same tone. Not the you have your signal on and someone is beside you tone either.

Later I'll have to record, and I did a search but nothing came up.
During some turns I have gotten this sound, it’s usually when there are 2 lanes turning the same way. I don’t worry about it.

That sounds more like a lane departure/lane keep assist warning, which you can turn off in settings.

So funny, I forgot all about that thing haven't touched it since pickup just under two weeks ago. I'll check it out. I never paired but maybe that's automatic?

Could be, the sound comes from the truck that the phone is moving off/on the charger?
This is why I designed and cut this on my laser. Rests on top of the charging area and keeps the phones from sliding.

It's just the Pink Floyd audio experience feature, you can disable it in settings.

(no one is gonna get this joke)

As a thought, you might try “forgetting” the Camp Speaker in Bluetooth (not the Rivian). If you use it separately again, you can always re-pair.
