Somehow just not as pimp without the big ass doors.
It is like an el camino on steroids. Maybe if you take this version and make it an SUV, the smaller two door R1S would rival the new bronco coming out.

Not for me, plus I donā€™t know if a shorter vehicle would have the same battery capacity. One variation that may make sense for many (and with lesser redesign cost or potential battery impact) would be a two-door with longer truck bed configuration on the same length platform... but I still prefer the current version for my particular needs.

I can see something like this coming in the Rivian range 'down the road', but it's not for me. I currently have a Tundra crew cab, and the gigantic rear seat area is one of its best aspects.

Iā€™d definitely want a longer bed if it wasnā€™t a crew cab.

I would be very interested in a version of the R1T that eliminates the back doors (a fold up jump seat would be good), extends the bed, all while keeping the overall length no more than the current 218 inches.

The market/demand has pretty much killed the single cab pickup.

A bit off topic, but I can't help myself. Give me a shorter wheelbase Wrangler/Bronco competitor (2 row SUV) that's still streetable, but geared even more for offroad than the current R1 models.

I'd opt for that & a trailer over a smaller pickup all day long.

Second row optional... I've wanted a two door / two seat SUV for a long time.

I broke down & bought a 4 door Jeep years back just due to all the extra room. Even with the rear seat folded flat, the back door access is nice.

Plus, I probably won't own a 2 door anything (other than my '03 Jeep) until the kids are out of the house.

Amen to that brother! I am using my R1T for more utility than sport, so I would happily sacrifice a little extra passenger comfort for a more robust cargo option.

If they ever make a 2-door, I expect they would give it a longer bed rather than a shorter wheelbase. Not for me at this point, since I need all the interior space of the R1S for canine and human passengers, but here's what I'm guessing it would look like:

That would by my first choice over the 4 door version, but I don't want to wait to see if that ever becomes a possibility

I'll take that in Rivian blue, Ocean Coast interior, and the standard 20" wheels. Please and Thank You.
