I have had mine replaced twice. My AC drains but I still get moisture under the floor mats. Looks like I am due for a third replacement.
Third while under warranty (<60k mi)?

I am at 18k. I have considered a gen 2 but cannot stomach spending $100k. Also the AC issue does not appear to be isolated to gen1 vehicles

Same. I had the A/C wet spot addressed at 55k miles. I'm well out of warranty now at 70k miles and *really* concerned about the Rivian shop rates (they're higher than even BMW rates)

Without any right to repair, service manuals for owners, or 3rd party shops my Rivian R1T feels like a time-bomb waiting to go off :-(

Rivian really needs to open up rivianCare or honor recurring issues. Luckily this is their problem until 2028

The thing is, I *really* don't want an extended warranty. I want to be able as an owner, to be empowered to fix my own stuff.

I really don't like Rivian telling me how I can, and can't use/modify/fix the vehicle I own.

I’m surprised there isn’t a recall on the gen1’s for this. After the 4th hvac replacement for this, Sheperdsville pulled the entire front interior out of my truck and ran it in the shop over thanksgiving weekend. It turned out the channel and hole in the floorboard was not drilled large enough to accommodate the drainage it needed. It got corrected.

i have been running my a/c pretty much constantly for the least 2-3 months and have not had the wet spot happen again.

Sounds like a factory defect.

Mine has been repaired in houston. I would have thought if any city understood heat and humidity it would have been Houston. Oh well, welcome to early adoption.

Hotlanta SC replaced mine both times 🤷‍♂️ They are just following the service manual steps...nothing outside the box.

So here is what is weird..i am not back to the chilewich mats and they appear to stay dry the rubber mats had moisture build-up underneath. also my hvac is draining on the passenger side and not the driver’s side..
