Wet driver side carpet

I was vacuuming out the truck today and saw what I thought might be sand and took the floor mat out and it was wet under the floor mat with a hard water ring round where it has dried before. The carpet is still wet. I did get a car wash today with an under carriage wash. I found a loose bolt underneath the frame but back farther closer to the rear seat and my truck was parked on an incline with the front going uphill so it made me think it would have drained out. Any ideas before I submit a ticket?

It's a drain valve on the HVAC. There is a service campaign to address it. It gest blocked and starts to back feed into the cabin is my understanding. They'll take care of it.

Ideas for? There are threads about the service campaign and scope of service. Nothing to do but file the service request.

My leak went unnoticed which turned into a critical battery error (sensors around the battery got wet, I was told) and a completely dead R1S. Had to tow to service center. They replaced HVAC, 12v batteries and carpet - 3 wks later it is back in the shop for a soaked driver side floor. Don’t let them tell you this can wait…

Call Service then attach your photos after service request is created. The service center will reach out with an earlier appointment date which will be immediately.

I just had this service done and the "new model" drain plug was installed.

P.S. Rivian will use a cleaner to remove the water stain mark which restore mat to new or replace entirely if mold it present.

I noticed same in my quad T last week. Called & they took me in 2 days later in Richmond Va. Kept it a week, replaced the AC 'box' and drain, as well as the carpet. Great service, no charge, and a great dual 24 S loaner.

Oh no! I just dropped mine off today. They called me right away and had me bring it ASAP.

But its the third time

And I absolutely love my r1t and Rivian

They did the “recall” then later I noticed the mat was wet so back to SC and butyl tape was placed on the new valve which was previously installed. Now, mat is wet again but not as bad as before. It is going to be over another week before I can take it to the SC. My question is, if I leave AC off as the weather is cool enough now should that prevent further leaking until I get to the SC?

Just noticed this issue with my 2022 R1T
and booked an Appt but earliest was April 30, longest wait I've had by far. Is the AC drain line easily accessible to run a brush cleaner through? My Ram had a similar issue just ran a brush through to unclog.

Rivian had to do this repair twice for me. They had to replace the HVAC case, not just the drain plug, as they did the first time. They also replaced the carpet.
