You’re right, but honestly there’s nothing better than putting thousands of miles on someone else’s car while yours is in the shop. Had a couple and had all sorts of problems with them. Despite all that, I loved them (yes, it’s not reasonable I know).
Somehow, I would do it again (and by now with all the stories we’ve heard with Rivians, I know we’ll be on the same boat - minus the awesome loaner cars).

These are legit complaints.

I acknowledge your point about this being hashed out over and over again though.

Maybe that's just a sign that these are more than minor inconveniences that need to get addressed by Rivian in some way going forward.

I agree cupholder and CarPlay are inconvenient. You can’t convince me that the R1S only coming in a 7 seater is inconvenient, especially for “more storage” or “weight savings” as the OP said, on a vehicle as large and heavy as the R1S already is. As a person who has probably only had myself and 3 other people max in my car the last 10 years, you can’t convince me the extra row is cumbersome, due to lack of storage or too much weight.
