R1S update email from Rivian (June 11)

Anyone else not get this? I am a Dec ‘18 w/ guide and signed PBA and this was the first email I have not received.

I am Dec 2018 without a guide and May/June delivery. I would take that as a positive that you didn’t receive this email.

One optimistic (but unlikely) thought:

"Over the next two weeks, we'll share delivery windows with R1S customers who have updated delivery timing in 2022" could be interpreted as some people have actually had their delivery timing moved up if they have the perfect build.

@kanundrum you should open a ticket with CS, I was in the same boat, missed 3 emails but after opening a ticket I have received the last 3.

I highly doubt they batch emails. 100K is tiny volume in the world of email. this would take at most a couple minutes to send.

And they are not getting a high bounce rate with fake emails because these are order holders.

I agree, but they 100% have in the past. My wife and I both have orders under different accounts and emails.

Same here. I missed an email and called CS. They are aware of the issue and I am now getting emails again.

I do not think anyone is moved up, just people being pushed back but still in 2022. The question is are we talking 3 months or more? Once new windows start coming out we can guesstimate ours, if they are talking 6 months pretty much most people get pushed to 2023 but if it is 4 months many would squeak in in November and December 2022.

Noooo. No matter what they say, they will miss it. If they were to say 2023, no one would get their trucks until 2024.
