FG may be too nice for an everyday driver... I would seriously consider pounding the person who chips my beautiful FG door :punch:

Forrest Green = Garage Queen

I ended up using my state's sales tax rebate on my MY and doing full PPF. I'll for sure do at least the front for the R1T but more and more I'm thinking about doing the whole thing.

edit: Sorry to disappoint those coming here for pictures of FG, each time this post shows in What's New I get excited assuming its another picture.

^ I would love to "go" as in "go get my R1T" but sadly Rivian has me down for a Q4 2022 delivery :crying:

And... with gas prices being what they are, I gave my i3 to my daughter to use for her everyday work commute vehicle.. so I'm back to driving a gasser (her 2019 Mazda CX-3) again most of the time till I get my R1T.

Argh, this thread getting resurrected with more pics has me thisclose to switching to FG/FE from LG/FE. Anyone made a switch to FG recently and had it impact delivery date?

Given that I’m R1S, 21s, and FE, I think I’m in for a delay from May/June no matter what, so I’ll probably pull the trigger soon.

I should be getting my FG in about a week. Rivian guide said my truck had been inspected and is ready for delivery. I'll post some shots when it arrives.

All things equal I do like Forest Green more, but not $1500 more. I can't imagine switching would make a significant difference on delivery time, but I'm waiting for guide contact before making a final decision.

Keep us posted! I'm only (supposedly) a month behind you, so hope you get to ask that question soon.

And if I were you, I'd just get the color I like more, $1500 isn't much compared to the purchase price. But reasonable minds may differ.

All the colours do, really. Although I only saw samples of red canyon and limestone.

I drove a yellow one, it’s a gorgeous colour but too much in a vehicle that size. Seeing it in person reaffirmed forest green choice for me.
I'm all about too much, why I'm still considering a yellow switch.
