I have an 2026 R1T and since the day I took possession I've had an annoying Pop-up saying something like TPMS error service immediately. I just had it serviced at the Denver service center. However, on the drive home the error happened again. Has anyone had the same issue and what was the solution. Thanks.

Fault is either sensor or vehicle-side. Since you are under warranty just let them deal with it. Try a hard rest first. If it happens again, press and hold driver profile name in center display to capture diagnostics and have SC look for that.

I had something similar where my 23 R1S wasn't accepting/ updating to the new different tpms sensors after a wheel change. Got the same message. Neighbor (Rivian test engineer) whom has access to a Rivian service computer was able to input my tpms sensor serial numbers manually, which fixed my problem. My guess Rivian service will have to do the same. Don't let your vehicle leave service again without someone doing the 10-15 minute drive for the vehicle to update the tire pressure reading, proving that it is fixed. They can clear the error code, but if it never updates, it will come back like yours has.

Also, any tire shop, including rivian can read the tpms broadcasted serial numbers with a hand held programing device, without having to unmount the tires from the wheels.

waiting to see if they can do mobile service. If you look at the driver display for TPMS it usually says updated yesterday even after a 30 minute drive. When the pop-up occurs none of the tire pressure readouts show a fault, i.e. no dashes?

That again points to communication issues at the vehicle. Not sensors.

Yes, I agree. I believe they changed a module but that didn’t help. Not sure how the spare tire ties into this and if it could be a factor?
Small sized spare does not have a TPMS sensor. When mine was fixed, he was in contact with the Rivian TPMS sensor team on his slack network (that is what he called it)... who gave him a procedure to get the sensors to be recognized. No explanation of why it needed to be fixed that way, but it ultimately worked. I have gone back and forth now twice with my 22" road tires and 20" AT''s and I haven't had an issue since. No hardware replacement was required to fix my vehicle.

Doubt it. Each corner has a receiver. And each wheel has a TPMS (including full size spare, if that’s what one has). Each TPMS sensor has non-rechargeable and non-serviceable battery sealed within. It’s possible a bad batch (or soon to expired batch) got sent to Rivian. But that’s unusual. Aftermarket sensors usually need programming to be clones of factory ones. But if you aren’t using these, that’s definitely not the issue. And if they are bad, it’d just show dashes like you mentioned. So it’s probably that module, or damage to wiring (rodents).

Ok, I have a regular sized spare.

At least in the R1S, the single tpms module is located on the drivers side in the center of the "C" pillar. I have an extra, but not sure what help that would be. It wasn't the issue in my case.

Could possibly be damage to wires? I experienced the error when I drove away from the Denver service center the day I purchased it. Possible Vermon attacked it at the factory?

Or harness not fully plugged in. Lots of possibilities.
