TPMS accuracy

I’m finding the TPMS to be slightly off when I check manually.

Have others found the same? I tend to believe my manual pressure checker.

I find the Rivian TPMS to be ~2psi lower than my manual gauge. I can't be certain the manual gauge is accurate, but I don't see as much difference on my other vehicles.

TPMS is not designed to be used to set the tire pressure, it is a warning system to check pressure while driving, it is also an indicator of when pressure could be low and prompt to check pressure when tires are cold and can be set to recommended pressure. Tires should sit at least 3 hours to be considered cold, also they should be in shade as direct sunlight does affect the tire pressure.
