Well, I hope he is bilingual because I speak very little Spanish or Portuguese which is what the guy in the video was speaking. What if he’s YOUR delivery driver?
Risk to the owner’s identityyeah i'd be on the phone with the guide. Especially if you have signed paperwork of mileage.
Why the fear of sharing the VIN? just curious, it's not like you can get a loan with a VIN or nothing, it's easier to find your deets other ways anyway.
It sure didn’t look professional though. Maybe no damage but if it was mine I would definitely want an explanation from Rivian.Well, I hope he is bilingual because I speak very little Spanish or Portuguese which is what the guy in the video was speaking.
Honestly, it didn't appear he was being a jerk with it and perhaps he was supposed to take it to the office space he drove to. Not sure it's one of those situation where you want the guy to get fired just in case all he was doing was videoing for his YT channel while he was doing his job. I doubt he saw any harm in filming the info screen with the VIN.
Having said that, who knows how the truck was treated when not being filmed. Perhaps the best course of action is wait for delivery on Wednesday and see what the mileage is (it was 7 miles when he started the video) and see if there is any cosmetic or other type of damage that would indicate abuse.
He 1000% needs to tell Rivian. It sure didn’t look professional though. Maybe no damage but if it was mine I would definitely want an explanation from Rivian.
"But I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you meddling kids...." -Old Man JenkinsYou must have watched every R1T video to down to that one, what are the chances! Yes, found it, there were enough hints for me to know what to look for.
I’m starting to think I never will! Now, after arriving in Houston, it’s been taken to another shop for color correction on a gear tunnel door. This thing better be the best looking R1T in America when they are done, or by God, I’ll ask for another VIN! (And will end up being the one they swapped for your new one) ?Right? Have you seen your truck yet?
