In all the photo's I've seen, it seems none of the windows are tinted, or have any tint at all. Does anyone know what the deal is gonna be? That would be the first thing I do if they are not tinted, is to have them tinted.
Anyone been called yet by Rivian?

Our best information on what to expect at this point is what's shown in the configurator.

This shows the rear windows (both S and T) as being tinted, and the front windows not. This is what I would have expected and is industry standard.

Yup. I can't think of a truck or SUV sold in the USA that doesn't follow that pattern.

I also think that the back window will be fixed. With the gear tunnel I don't see it being able to lower. So why not have a slider with a small window?
Any thoughts?

Yeah I though as much, what about the back seat windows? The industry seems to tint those?

I'd agree with cohall's assessment that that backdoor windows will be tinted, while the frontdoor windows will not.

Could be because a small slider is mostly useless, can be a security concern, and would make the cabin noisier.

Forever ago now, I was told by a Rivian Engineer they made the R1T rear glass curved specifically to avoid reflections on the infotainment screens. Maybe this made it too hard to have a sliding window that opens.
