I just got the email to configure my second pre order, which was placed in August 2022. Pretty shocked it's this early, given the expected pre order backlog and capacity. I'm waiting for the dual motor max pack for this one though. Might even switch to an R1S...

June 6, 2022 reservation - I'm also located about 40 miles / an hour away from the Brooklyn Service Center.

Also as an update, just got the email from Rivian this afternoon asking me to confirm my configuration.

I got the invite to configure yesterday afternoon. Super excited!

I completed configuration last night and got an email to confirm this morning. I will complete the process today. Will be ordering Rivian Blue with road tires.

They have limited configurations available.

I am a bit surprised by how fast they appear to be turning things. Hopefully a sign of efficiency vs. one of low demand.

The market is tough, and I can see how a $90k truck might be slow to sell.

Only the Quad. Dual is targeted for mid-2023, so expect that to pop up soon I guess.

After they released emails that the dual max for the T would be released summer 2023 now their website says fall 2023. Funny they didn’t make that very public

I got the confirm your Rivian email today. 9/11/22 reservation. Really want to do it...but I will likely wait for dual motor.

I placed my reservation in October 2022. Got the email last night to configure and take delivery in 1-4 months. However, the price with the adventure pack and required configuration took me over $95,000. $91,000 without the adventure pack (street tires, no spare, no skids). That's a far bit over the $75k these were originally supposed to sell for. That's just a little too rich for me, so I sadly cancelled my order. Maybe when the dual motor units are out in a couple years I'll look back.

exactly on the point of price, just south of 100k, is this how I want to spend my money ? It’s far from a necessity the R1T and the economy continues and will for sometime be in very shaky waters.

Plus, interest rates on the purchase

anyone care to share what interest rate/term a 830+ plus credit score with at least 20% down is fairing with the Rivian Chase bank financing ?

Confirm configuration March 13 2023 (Monday)
Invite to R1T Vehicle Shop March 14 2023 (Tuesday)

Unfortunately, my exact configuration choice isn’t available so I’m holding out for my specific order.

I put down a reservation March 5 2023 (yes less than two weeks ago) and received an invite to configure my R1T yesterday. When I reserved, I was thinking the truck would be headed my way more towards the end of the year. Unsure what I'm going to do.

Perhaps this isn't fair on my part, but I also don't quite understand how Rivian had 120k+ preorders last quarter and they're inviting somebody who just put down a reservation to configure. It does make me worry about the demand and thus potential health of Rivian. If I'm going to spend 90k+ on a truck I want the company to be around to service it..
