I’ve been waiting for long enough to have a LE LG R1T for May/June delivery. I am 50/50 on my 2023 first half R1S.

I was sitting at the beach house watching football and drinking adult beverages when I had a light bulb moment. I’m sure its Sounds judgement.
What if/could I even, switch the R1T LE to a R1S LE?
Then have my 2023 R1S switch to and R1T. My benefit there would be that I’d get the R1S I wanted ( losing my LE R1T I’ve dreamed of for so long). However once the potential 2023 R1T came around I might know about a removable roof . I’d really love my R1T to have that feature. I’ve configured the Bronco with removable hard top tons of times.

I like the Fisker Ocean too vs the R1S but the R1S is a way better value IMO

please help me
Ps I cancelled my Lightning preorder

Depending on when you reserved your R1S it might turn into a Q4 2022 R1T. I think people with reservations up to 10/21 were getting Q4 2022 delivery dates for Adventure R1Ts.

Yes you can. Go for it if you want. Not crazy at all.
Except for liquidity to buying 2 $75k vehicles in the same fiscal year. That’s strange for even my dark side of the moon.

Haha, yeah. I'm with you there! just delay the non-LE R1T until it has the features you want.

I switched from R1T LE to R1S LE just before the delivery timing emails went out in November, but they didn't catch the change in time and gave me a July-Sep window for my R1T. I called to inquire about what it would be for the R1S, and was told it would be the same time window.
