FYI, I spoke to the likely first non employee delivery in TX earlier (Houston). Took delivery yesterday at the PPF & tint shop, only drove it into the shop before picking it up this afternoon.

Total car guy that also has a Lucid Air Dream, Tesla S Plaid, & Porche Taycan Turbo S.

@skyote Did you ask him how much it cost? I have been thinking of calling the shop below for a quote. It is only four miles from the Houston Rivian service center.

Sounds about right. Did essentially the same panels/locations on my previous S5 and that was just over $1500 in 2017. I’ll still probably do the totally flat front end, but undecided beyond that lol.

I was scheduled to be at an event down there this weekend, but it got cancelled & I won't be making the trip. I would've been a yes if I was in the area!

It would have been great to have you! I am sure there will be more opportunities down the road. I take a trip to Austin every year and would be down for meetups in the Austin area.

Dallas Area. 1st day pre-order. R1S, Launch Green, BM Interior and 22 Dark. April-May delivery date. I have a guide assigned and have signed the PBA. No VIN # assigned yet. Hopefully I get it in May.
