Spaces in KOP

Anyone know when the KOP Spaces is supposed to open? On Rivian's site it still says opening soon.

When I was at the Malvern SC last week they told me that the sales group was moving from Malvern to KOP (King of Prussia, PA for those who don't know) next week so it must be soon. It would be fun to pick up your Rivian at a mall that has Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Cartier...

It will help sell Rivian - especially once the R2 is there for a pretty direct comparison to the Tesla offerings. We did our test drive in Brooklyn - at least in KOP they can get on the Turnpike for an exit heading east and see what the acceleration is really like. I don't think we exceeded 25 mph on our test drive!

I’m not sure they will be allowed to do test drives in KOP. I think there is something with Pa law because I asked about doing test drives out of the Malvern service center and it was a no go

You're probably right...Damned PA Lawmakers. Tesla is the ONLY manufacturer allowed direct sales in PA and I'm sure they greased enough palms or snuck in when the PA Car Dealer Network thought they wouldn't amount to anything. I'm reaching out to my congresswoman...

This has to change. If they gave me an R2 I'd be happy to let others drive it on test drives on Saturdays and Sundays (even if it didn't have LIDAR). Hmmm...

It looks like test drives will be available.. by appt.

The KOP mall map appears to show the Rivian space has an entrance from the parking garage as well as from the mall - if true, this could be where the demo drives start from..

I was glad to see that too. Either PA changed their law OR Rivian just doesn't care! There's a Lucid showroom in KoP too. Now they just need an R2 on display...
