There has been a thread about seat covers for the T&S. After hounding and begging them for a year Wet Okole now offers seat covers for front and back seats. I have used the seat covers on my Land Cruisers and Tacomas since 2004. I recommend that Rivian owners give these covers a look. Take a look at em on their web site. I live in Kauai and the neoprene seat covers are ” bomb proof” when it comes to water and sand. They are 4 weeks out on orders. I have personally installed all but one of the 5 sets purchased from Wet Okole over the last 19 years. I inquired about the R1T install and they indicated the fronts require some patience as the space between the seat edge and console is tight. When you go to their web site go to search and input 3268 to see a pic of front seat install and 3269 to see rear seat install for R1T. They have pics for S too, but I did not ask for the number to search. Give em a call- yes they answer the phone promptly- and request.

asked if it was tough

These look pretty good! Wet Okole I’m very familiar with from the Land Rover community.

I wanted canvas, so I’ve been patterning my own design. I’ve done the bottoms (which need another refinement), still working on the backs.

I’ve installed 5 or on my Landcruisers & Tacoma’s. The seat is really tight in Rivian. Hope I can install without breaking or pulling apart something.

Are you giving up the ventilated seat functionality by having the Wet Okoles on?

They barely work, specially the bottom part.
I'll have to check mine. I haven't noticed any issues but maybe the back works well and the bottom not so much.

On my 2002 LC, the heated seat works fine. There were no cool seats back then. My daughters both have R1S. One with 3 toddlers-one still in car seat- other daughter with 2- both in car seats. They opted for back seat only- keep them from trashed out. They wanted 100% seat heat&cooling in front where they spend their time. My wife and I are ocean swimmers and in the water, sand and in Hanalei you are at the transfer station with green waste. For our life style, we give up seat cooling. It works for us, but you make a good point in that you do compromise some seat luxury with covers.

Is it really tight fitting canvas between seat and seat base? Canvas is thinner than neoprene. I’ve installed many sets of wet Okole but Rivian is tight- hope I can do it without bustin anything.

link? there is no search function on their website.

if youre giving up the ventilated seat functionality, not sure why you needed to wait for these. there are plenty of options. this one fits perfectly for the front seats in the R1 and you can color match close to BM and OC: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TXY83WB

what ive been lookin for for years is one that is perforated and compatible with ventilated seats. not sure why no one had designed one yet.

The Wet Okole covers are not perforated. They do not allow any moisture to permeate. Their market niche is seat covers for people who are watermen/women, surfers anybody who wants to jump in seat wearing something wet. I speculate the comparison of Wet Okole to the Amazon seat cover is apples to oranges quality wise. Might not fit your life style-could be better options for ya.
