Good morning

Hopefully this topic has not been covered and doesn't seem too strange to ask, but does anyone know if you will be able to add running boards to the R1T? My wife is 4'9" and running boards would be a welcome edition. Additionally, my friend has running boards on his truck and he has stated that they have saved him from parking dings numerous times as the doors hit the boards before the car.

Thanks in advance

While I haven't seen it discussed we have seen rock rails installed and being tested on the truck. Neither running boards nor rock rails have made it into the configurator yet and it might be a little while until anything after market is available. But I am sure there are mounting points for them.

Also remember that the truck has a kneel mode for help getting into and out of... but that doesn't help with door dings.
