One has to feel sorry for, well, actually laugh at all those Rivian fanboys on here who god forbid will not want even a loaner from Rivian or for Rivian to incur any additional expenses because it is not fair for them to burden Rivian even in a fair and rightful fashion. LMAO. Joke's so on you!!

I typically don't take a loaner, but I have other vehicles and Rivian also doesn't want you towing with your loaner. Rideshare credits are good enough for me.

It's more of a function of the location of the service center for me as to why I take one. The closest service center is 3.5 hours away, which would be a costly ride share. Although my Rivian hasn't needed overnight service and my Gen 1 only required service at the shop back when they still did 2-way free towing, my time being overnight service free is about to end as I have an electrical gremlin that's going to require shop diagnostics.
