They aren't adding them to existing orders.

Also Rivian has said using their trademarks (such as your domain name) to get referrals is not allowed. Would be a shame if you got reported...

Anyone have a strategy on how to retroactively get rivian to apply the referral program to my order? I literally locked in my vehicle 72 hrs before the program came out and rivian so far is refusing to help. I pick up my car August 28th. Happy to use the code of the person who has a legit way. No, they were pretty firm on their decision of not honoring the referral code. I was pretty bummed but I let it go quickly after Rivian made an error on the lease paperwork in my favor and in order to correct it took an hour of my time during pickup and offered me a free home charger, cargo bars and rubber mats. Exactly the items I wanted to get with my referral points.
