So my biggest draw back with the R1T is going from only having full size pickups ( f150 and f250 ) to a truck that was stated to be bigger than a midsize pick up. Just curious, I looked up available numbers on the R1T and some other 2020 pick up trucks on the market from what was on various sites and got this:
Rivian R1T:
overall length - 217.1β
Width - 79.3β
Height - 71.45β
Wheelbase - 135.8β
Bed - 4.5β
Torque - 10,325 Lb
Hp - 750
2020 GMC Canyon:
Overall length - 212β-225β
Width - 74β
Height - 71β
Wheelbase - 128.3β
Bed - 61β-74β
Torque - 369 LB
Hp - 308
2020 Ford Ranger
Overall length - 211β
Width - 78β
Height - 72β
Wheelbase - 126.8β
Bed - 5β-6β
Torque - 310
Hp - 270
2020 F150
Overall length - 209.3β - 227β
Width - 79.9β
Height - 76β
Wheelbase - 122.4β - 141.1β
Bed - 5.5β - 8β
Torque - 470
Hp - 375
Most of the specs fall within the medium size pickup. Very narrow and short bed but slightly longer than most medium sized pickups.
