I think it is unlikely that the R2 would be featured, but I notice one big difference between my R1S launch edition interior and this one; the arm rest has no split (see the picture); it could have been taken out but that doesn't seem like a good use of editing time:

Are all of the armrests split or did they change at some point?

They are all split. You are just not seeing it because of the angle + motion blur of camera movement.
