Rivian "liked" an Amazon tweet today.

From the Amazon link in the tweet:
Electrifying our fleet
Amazon is committed to electrifying its delivery fleet. Amazon ordered 100,000 custom electric delivery vehicles from Rivian, marking the largest order ever of electric delivery vehicles, with all 100,000 vehicles planned to be on the road by 2030. Plus, Amazon has put over 15 different models of electric vehicles on the road, including custom delivery vehicles, e-cargo bikes, and e-rickshaws, to test and learn across the U.S., the European Union, and India.

100,000 custom delivery vehicles on the road by 2030. I've learned to try to be careful when interpreting Rivian statements. Rivian's S-1 says they plan to deliver 100,000 EDV's to Amazon by 2025. I wonder if the EDV delivery date (and/or amount) has changed, or if there is something about the terminology used here that I'm not picking up on (again....).

From the S-1 https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1874178/000119312521289903/d157488ds1.htm
Our launch vehicles in the commercial space are a portfolio of EDVs designed in collaboration with Amazon. In September 2019, we entered into an agreement with Amazon under which Amazon has initially ordered 100,000 EDVs, subject to modification as described below under “Certain Relationships and Related Party Transactions.” We expect to deliver at least 10 vehicles in the month of December 2021. We plan to deliver 100,000 EDVs by 2025 and continue our relationship with Amazon thereafter.

Nothing to see here. Just PR people doing PR stuff
I understand why you say that but they could have said 100000 by 2025 and that would be accurate (going off previous comments) and my noteworthy since it would be five years earlier.
