I had a previous navigation address that I wanted to go to again. I asked assistant "Can you navigate to the address on Elm street in [City] from my navigation history?"

The response was "I couldn't find an address on Elm street in your navigation history."

But when I manually tapped to in the history, it was right there. Now I'm wondering if it misheard, if there is a bug preventing it from pulling the right address, or if it can't see nav history at all and is just hallucinating that the feature exists.

I asked it to fold mirrors yesterday and it couldn’t. Would definitely want that soon.
Is it possible they won't do this until they develop the ability to identify users by voice print?

I can imagine they wouldn't want a playful child to fold the mirrors while the driver was changing lanes at 75 in on a major metro freeway (for example).

Stuff like that could be gated to be while in Park or when stopped. For example, you can change drive modes via Assistant, but only when you're in Drive IIRC.

Agreed; this would make sense as an incremental change.

Don’t think so. This is already controlled via the screen so a kid in the front would already be able to do this. I believe it is already gated by the speed of the car.

I think you may be right about be gated by speed.

But I can physically see and stop someone from touching the screen. I can’t stop someone in the back seat from speaking. And I can’t help the system discern my voice from an 8 year old girl.
