I don't think they dropped them from the future. But they did not list them in this initial list of cities. What makes you think they completely dropped them?
Because they didn't announce them as the first stops?
I never expected that all the original listed cities would be held simultaneously, and I suspect the first four they just listed will not be either. Those are likely the ones to be held on various dates in September, with the October cities released later.
I did interpret their original communication as they would be occurring (basically) simultaneously.
They've now changed the list of initial cities to this:
I'm just curious why. Was the original list intended to be sequential between those six cities? The language did not imply a hierarchy.
If it's really "LA, SF, and NYC in September with Seattle, Chicago, and Detroit in October" why not say that? Instead they've relegated the other previously named cities to the same level of expectation for an event as literally anywhere else in the Country in their current email:
For all we know from the email they may spend 1 month in the first three cities, or they may spend 4 months there and not visit other cities until 2022. It just seems weird to me to have explicitly called out the other three cities specifically in their story announcing them originally, and then not at all mentioning them now.
