Repair Dark 20" AT Wheels Deep Scratch?

Anyone have any tips for repairing deep scratch on the Dark 20s. I really dont remember curbing it and it is in the center of the wheel.

You have two options. Touch up paint is one. The other is alloy wheel repair. A wheel repair place can make it look like it never happened. I had a curbed Tesla wheel repaired and it was $180...looked brand new after.

With the black wheel a wheel repair place will still have to paint it.

Because it’s not a solid color paint, but a tinted clear coat, it’s a bit more tricky to fix and look original. Check Yelp or local repair options and seek appraisals.

Correct. The result will be like it never happened though. They will refinish it.

I had Dr Wheel, mobile wheel repair company, come out. Took about 30min.

Wow! If I had known it was that easy, I would have gone with the dark wheels. I knew I’d bash mine off-roading and didn’t want to see the high contrast gouges so I went with the standard 20s.

To be fair I can tell the difference in blacks. It’s not perfect.

Any idea they use for paint? I have a really small nick to cover. I figure if it reduce the chances of it peeling down the road. Thanks
