Hello all- Brand new here, but have read quite a bit of posts. I added my deposit on an R1T build, and was told by CS since they are supplying my area that I will get a call within two weeks to start my build process. I am not going to lie, I am pretty nervous and getting cold feet as this is my first ever electric vehicle. I have a million "what if" questions...
One of my biggest concerns was the drive to Brooklyn if it needed service. However, I saw in here that Trenton may open a facility which would be HUGE coming from Philly. How often are the R1T's getting serviced or something going wrong with them? I am coming from a Tacoma and it is nice to drive 10 minutes to get whatever I need fixed. However, it is not so nice spending $120 a week in gas. Luckily, I can charge for free at work.
Sorry for all of the questions, and any insight would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

- How is Rivian financing through Chase? I think I may be better just using Navy Federal Credit Union.
- Insurance? State Farm told me I would go up $75 a month (I have been with them for 20+ years). I may check out USAA for that.
- Lease? I know they just released they were going to offer this. I never leased before and would be skeptical of doing so.
- PA state inspection?
- Any other concerns coming from gas to electric?
