R1S Speaker question

Are the speakers in the bottom of the front doors just subwoofers or full speakers? Seems they just output bass on mine.

I swear I can’t hear any mids on my gen1 - only the highs from the dash speakers and lows from my (upgraded JL) amp and sub. Wish I could figure it out.

Thanks all, yeah @3wisemonkeyz - I agree somewhat. The sound is somewhat hollow sounding and that's what led me to investigate the speakers to see if they were even working. All I got was mid-bass out of those, so apparently they are working.

Turn off surround sound unless you prefer hollowness, which is what simulated surround sound generally does, lacking native digital surround encoding.
