R1S May/June Delivery Window

Thought I would start an R1S specific thread.

I have no guide yet.

Current R1S config:

• Launch Edition
• Launch Green
• Forrest Edge
• Since Tow Hooks are standard, took off reinforced under carriage
• 22", may still switch back to 20"
• Dec 2018 order date

Naïve question: where are people finding their delivery windows?

I assume either that I'm missing something obvious (boy eyes...) OR since I'm in the 70,000s (Jan'22) I just don't have a date yet?

Probably that. LE were sent delivery windows in late 2021 and others in January 2022, if I remember correctly.

My config is in my sig (which, ahem, I'd encourage all to adopt).

Feb. 2019, R1S, LE, FG, FE, 21s, no offroad, live in bay area.

CS has always told me that my delivery window will hold, and at one point a while ago even said they were targeting May. No guide contact yet, and based on the "R1S to Venice by early summer" IG comment today, I won't hold my breath.

you ordered too late for a delivery window. LE received their windows in Nov 2021, non-LE received theirs in Dec 2021. They haven't released any updates since Dec 2021. It is supposed to be added to your account "s00n" (was early 2021, now "a couple of months")

I'm more than a little worried about being re-shuffled just as our window finally opens.

I would love to see some photos of R1S vehicles sitting at a service center awaiting delivery, or some being spotted in transit.

That fact that no one has reported any deliveries, and I haven’t seen any customer vehicles being in Plymouth, MI has me a bit concerned.

I will say that about a month ago I rarely saw a Rivian vehicle on my daily commute, and now I see almost 1 a day.

Kudos for R1T deliveries, now let’s see some R1S’s!!

Details in my signature. Made a recent change after seeing colors in person and getting the OC info. Chicago SC has lots of R1Ts for delivery. No R1S’s. I have good intel that they’re being built but will likely sit in QC for a while. Just as the R1Ts did. Hoping that means minimal issues once delivered.
