R1S May/June Delivery Window

Its been a couple weeks of waiting since I text with my guide. I sent her a message this morning and waiting on an update. Last update from my guide what that the earlist R1S customer deliveries were going to be in June.... I'm crossing my fingers they are still on track with that!

FWIW, I'm April/May. I had my first guide contact April 12, insurance call a few days later. My guide and insurance contact both told me they were seeing a lot of R1S vehicles on the line. I signed my PBA on April 21. I was consistently told late April/early May, and as recent as April 26 was told it still looked good for delivery within 2 weeks from that date. Since then I've received no response to several emails/text messages sent to my guide and one sent yesterday to customer service.

Rec'd email early 2022 for delivery April/May 2022. Spoke w my guide and finalized configuration 4/13/22. Signed PBA 4/21/22. Told delivery in May is still on schedule. Waiting for VIN assignment and to start the 8 step process.

Random question, likely answered elsewhere, but what's the approximate time for a vehicle to be built on the assembly line? From start to finish, how long does an R1S take to build if all parts are ready?

Nice! 852 reservations between 11/26 (yours) and 11/28 (mine). I wonder if the order nubmers are for ALL R1 vehicles, or model specific to R1S. Was the 11/26 the opening day of reservations?

Definitely all of them. Not specific to R1T vs. R1S.

On Rivian Stories someone posted that they started the 8 steps for their R1S, so at least some are starting to ship.
