For anyone who had issues w/ DCFC and had your car's Central Gateway Module replaced, how has your charging experience been since? The day I picked up our new R1S (June 9) I discovered that charging didn't work at home using L1 & L2 EV chargers, and didn't work in public at DC fast chargers either. It's been in the shop the past few weeks (thankfully they provided a loaner R1T), and I'm picking it up this afternoon after they replaced both the internal L2 charger and Central Gateway Module. Crossing my fingers everything works perfectly from here on out.

All has been working perfectly for me since my module was replaced back in 10/2022 in my R1T

Anyone else having issues with their brand new R1S and Level 3 charging? We got our a month ago and its been extremely frustrating to have to Level 2 charge in random places all the time, sometimes leaving the vehicle on random streets to charge overnight (our building chargers have not yet been installed). We've done the reboot of Level 3 chargers and vehicle with Service team remotely, including trying every Level 3 charger in our area, no fix.

Rivian has been extremely slow to get us in for servicing (have to wait until end of year), really disappointing, especially since we use the car for our business and average more than 50 miles/day.

I read about an R1T having issues and it turned out to be faulty module, I don't know why they can't just send support with a new module and see if that fixes the issue because what will likely happen is we will drop off vehicle for servicing end of month and they will take a week or more to diagnose.

This is such a huge issue for us right now and Rivian is not helping, I'd love to hear some thoughts on what we should do to press them to make this a more urgent matter.
Thank you so much for this post! I have very rarely tried to DC fast charge my truck, but literally every single time it fails usually within 1-5 minutes just like this. I recently bought an iX M60 that charges flawlessly on the same hardware and was beginning to suspect the truck was the problem, so I googled it and found this thread.

I had the same issues with DC fast charging and it was extremely frustrating. Ruined multiple road trips. After the 3rd service appointment, the CGM was finally replaced. Since then all fast charging has been flawless. I finally have road trip confidence!
