I’m a R1S LE pre-order holder with a Mar/Apr delivery window who also got the guide email this afternoon and have an intro call scheduled for Tuesday. Exciting times!

So I just got off my R1S LE Guide call with Jenny H (who's awesome). I'll try to find time to type up a full summary, but here are a few interesting nuggets:

• Rivian's current goal is to deliver R1S LEs by the end of May to owners who lock in configs now
• This won't matter for most of you, but you can defer delivery without any issues (I'm deferring to July 1 in order to take advantage of the Illinois tax rebate that goes into effect that day)
• They are currently producing ALL exterior colors and wheels
• They are current producing BM and FE interiors, but OC is slightly delayed due to "issues" (Jenny said that she is hoping/expecting that OC will be ready for my delivery in July, so not a huge delay)
• Locking in your config will trigger fulfillment of your accessory order (meaning that I can get my wall charger well before my R1S arrives)
• Factory delivery is an option for those within an unspecified radius (ostensibly 2-3 hours) from the Normal plant or with special circumstances (i.e., you live a significant distance 4-5+ hours - from a Rivian location)

I wonder what they meant by that...Anyone who has a guide assigned will be delivered by end of May if they lock their config? Some had March/April delivery windows. It's just a wierd statement when we can't lock our config on our end. So it depends on a guide locking our config (and having a guide assigned). I guess anyone without a guide assigned for an R1S should expect June+ for delivery.
